As a mobile veterinary service there are lots of things we can do. However, certain diagnostics and procedures will be unavailable. If there is something we are not directly able to assist with, we are certainly able to arrange this elsewhere or signpost you to a suitable alternative. End of life care for our beloved pets is an infinitely difficult subject. Everyone has different opinions, thoughts, reasoning and decision making. At JARVS we offer home visits for humane euthanasia so that you, your family and your pet can remain in a familiar and comfortable environment throughout. In a clinical emergency please contact your local registered veterinary surgery. For out of hours advice or care you may call the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals on 01707 666366 (Royal Veterinary College, Hawkshead Lane, North Mymms, AL9 7TA). At JARVS we are unable to provide any overnight care or hospitalisation during the day. If your pet is hospitalised at the QMHA overnight please make arrangements for collection or transfer to your local registered surgery as needed. We are always looking to expand on the number of services we can offer, but this is a gradual process. If you are looking for something specific please get in touch. We may be able to accommodate some requests or advise if/when we will be able to in the future.

Currently we are unable to offer visits or veterinary advice for any farm or livestock species. However, this is something that we may look to expand on in the future e.g. commercial farms, small holdings, pets, etc. Please get in touch if these services are something you may be interested in.
